Hello everyone.
This picture you can see on the right side ---> is me. I know this is really pretty and nice picture! lol :PThis is when I was three years old and went to the shrine for The Seven-Five-Three Festival.
Do you know anything about The Seven-Five-Three Festival? Most Japanese know about it well, I hope, but I am going to talk about The Seven-Five-Three Festival for people who don't really know about it.
So this festival is held on November 15th every year for children who are seven, five, and three years old to celebrate the growth.
They usually go visit shrines or temples with usaually wearing japanese clothes like kimono and make-ups.
Also, they usually celebrate it with eating kind of candy called Chitose-ame. It is like thin and long, colored each with red and white because people believe that red and white are something good. What is more, the Chitose-ame is in the bag called Chitose-bukuro which has pictures of Tsurukame or Shochikubai, people believe those pictures are also something good.
So maybe I, in this picture, has the Chitose-ame as well ..I don't really remember but it seems like.
..I wondered if my parents still remember about that time.

I might not be cerebrated at the event. So I don`t know how tasts chitose-ame. If I find them, I will try.
I don't remember my shichigosan celebration at all. Boys are also celebrated for this event?
So cute!! I wish I could see your face of the picture.
Even though I have been there three times in my life, I didn't know much about the festival. Next time I go there, I would have my kids. Can't wait.
